May in Kindergarten

What a lot of fun May was. A birthday treat and a lost tooth are always celebrated.

We have gone on several rambles to follow some changes that Spring brings. Crocus', tulips and lilacs were points of focus.

Magnifying glasses have aided our explorations.

Crafting during Center Time has been a popular choice. They plan, share ideas and make wonderful art pieces.

Puzzles and Pattern Blocks develop space and shape skills.

As always we count, read and write every day!
2-D and  3-D shapes were also a part of our studies this month.

This is a moment makes my heart so proud.
At the first notes of, Oh Canada,
the students quickly assemble to stand at attention and sing our national anthem with pride.
