June in Kindergarten

We continued to follow the season changes. There are new summer flowers growing now.

After I went to Cirque du Soleil Crystal  and after I shared a video of the amazing performers. They were inspired to try some daring feats on the playground.

Dramatic play continues to be a popular choice at center time.

Gage is showing off. He can build 82 with tens and ones.

The trip to Assiniboia's Shurniak Gallery to learn about PATTERNS IN ART, was lots of fun. A play in the park, lunch at Subway and the bus ride was all great. We got back to school just in time for the BIKE RODEO!

Birds seemed to be a popular topic for this class. Claire's mom brought their falcon chick to visit twice.

The Kindergarten students became super students. Even on the very last day of school they were doing their best to expand their skills. Learning more about falcons (see their last science page) printing, counting and representing 86 days of school, making patterns at snack time, practicing skip counting by 2's during center time and printing/reading letters and words. What a wonderful class!

Happy summer holidays Atlee, Avery, Gage, Paige, Jax, Lara, Gavin and Claire
See you Grade One kids next year in Phys. Ed!
Love Mrs. Dyck
