Kindergarten November

Putting puzzles together is an excellent way to practice co-operation, develop stamina, recognize shapes, spaces, colours, patterns and use fine motor skills. They are also lots of fun.

Lara found this bird nest on the way back from bowling. It inspired a study of the Robin.

November was most exciting as we became a class of 7!

We are so excited to have Gavin join our learning fun. Center time allows students to explore areas of particular interest to them. This is an example of extended pattern making that took a very long period of sustained concentration. Avery revisited the 100 Board and count to 100 all by himself.

We had a great visit to the Public Library where Giselle gave them Library Cards, read some stories and provided everything to make gingerbread men! Thanks so much for having us.

These were shared on seesaw and then I decided that I prefer this Blog for general pictures, activities and explanations. You may see us out...
